Client work
A website for buying forest properties and felling rights that turns a forest owner’s visit into a quote request.
Fellin Forest had no website. A forest owner weighing up the sale of a property or felling rights could not check anything about the company online, and had no way to leave an enquiry — the only route was to phone. In Google the company was effectively absent: a search for the name returned none of its own pages.
Selling a forest property is a large and infrequent decision for the owner, and nothing matters more in it than whether the buyer can be trusted. The client wanted a visitor to understand two things from the first screen: that this is a professional and trustworthy buyer, and that the whole process that follows — contact, the information needed, the next steps — is transparent and predictable.
What exactly we built, and why that way.
The site’s central action is the enquiry. The form asks a forest owner for exactly the information needed to make an offer — without the visitor having to call.
Structure, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals were sorted before launch, not bolted on afterwards.
Measurement set up so it is visible where visitors come from and how many of them reach an enquiry.
Before the project there was no website, no enquiry channel and no trace in Google. Three weeks later there was all three.
Lighthouse 13.4.1, desktop, measured 4 August 2026 — check it yourself on PageSpeed Insights.
The most important change is not a number — it is that an enquiry channel came into existence at all. Before, an interested owner had to phone. Now they leave an enquiry through the form whenever it suits them, and they understand who they are dealing with before making contact. A four-day build meant the company was visible online and taking enquiries in the same week the work started.
Visibility followed immediately. In three weeks Google sent 109 clicks to the site at a click-through rate of 10.6% — meaning the page does not merely appear in the results, people pick it out from among the competitors. For a company whose own pages did not surface at all when you searched its name, all of that traffic came from zero.
The technical side serves the same goal. Lighthouse scores performance 100 out of 100: the largest content element paints in 0.8 seconds, the browser is never blocked during load, and nothing shifts on the page. A forest owner opening the site on a phone in the middle of a forest on a weak signal is not left waiting.
“Talson.ee built our website and the result was excellent. Everything was professional — the quality of the work, the price and the communication throughout the whole process. The first enquiry came just two days after the site went live. We warmly recommend them.”
